The Difference Between MBA And EMBA

There are more than hundreds of universities out there that offer both an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration), but it’s quite hard to choose which one is right for you if you don’t know the difference between mba and emba.  Usually, people think that an EMBA holds more value than an MBA, but that’s only upheld by people who don’t know a lot about business administration. Both the courses are held in the same position when the question comes to placements.  The differences between the two are how they are taught to students, their syllabus, and their purpose discourse leads to two different worlds of experience.

Requirements For EMBA

Since EMBAs are designed for managers and have enough work experience at least that of 10 to 15 years – those who apply for EMBAs have a lot of difference from those who apply for MBAs. Further than that, those who apply for EMBS are not asked for standardized scores because they have enough experience to have that left out.

Requirements For MBA

However, those who apply for MBA have more emphasis on GMAT scores and the essays they’ve sent into the colleges they’ve applied to. This helps the college that they’ve applied to select among the candidates easily. Hopefully, now you understand the difference between mba and emba.
